Winter

Turning over a new leaf this winter: It seems like ever since I moved here from Southern California, I've always complained about winter. Most of the time people couldn't really tell, cause I’d keep it to myself. But this year, things are going to be different! I've decided to force myself to be positive no matter what! I couldn't believe it this morning when I woke up to find more snow on the ground and floating beautifully down from the sky! I was actually really excited! I went for a long walk with my dear brother-in-law Joe today.

As we were walking all over downtown Marquette, I kept thanking God for the snow and how beautiful and clean everything looked! It was perfect! This actually has been an amazing winter so far and I’m actually really happy about it! Last year at this time I was complaining and looking forward to summer. But there are so many fun and positive things about winter too! Like what?!

Well, to start off: The snow, sipping hot chocolate with a candy cane or cinnamon stick, cuddling with your love, reading a book by the window watching the snow dance around like little fairies, watching movies, sledding, snowboarding, skiing, etc…etc…etc…and let’s not forget about the FASHION!! and classic red lipstick ;)

Yes, people (myself included) will complain no matter what season it is. But this is life, here! NOW! TODAY! I am now so thankful to God for every breath I take! God made the seasons for a reason and He knows exactly what He’s doing!

So take heart and ENJOY! All my love, Sarah Schober

Christmas MakeUp Look

HI FRIENDS!
So sorry I have been MIA lately (Tis the season.) I wanted to share a makeup look that I always wear this time of year! This is the first time I've shared it! It's beautiful, classy, simple and NEVER goes out of style! ;) Simply put: Black liner & red lips! I normally edit all of my photos, but my skin is actually at a good place right now ;) So there have been no edits made to these photos at all! =D YAY!! I hope to make a video of this look as soon as I get some time! ENJOY and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Enjoying some chocolate-y hot chocolate!

Just got back from spending a few days with my parents in Iron River. It was a pretty fast trip, (now back in MQT drinking some delicious hot chocolate!) As I was driving home tonight, I was having one of my deep, thought pondering moods. I was thinking, how crazy life is and wondering why I've always been in such a rush! When I was little, I couldn't wait to grow up, then I couldn't wait to get married, get a job, etc...Now, I can't wait to have a baby. But I need to just chill and enjoy everyday that God has given me. As I was driving, God reminded me of the verse in Matthew 6 that says, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." He gently reminded me that everything is in His hands and even though I have my plans, He has His! Therefore, I will continue to enjoy this hot chocolate and enjoy this Christmas season! =D

Happy Birthday Grandma!

My Mamma Yolanda, Me, my sister Lisa, my sister Laura, my Grandma Elisa and her dog Princess.
Today is my Grandma's 85th Birthday!
                        Happy Birthday Grandma!!
I love you and miss you so much!

My Favorite Palette.

1st Naked (My favorite)
Urban Decay's Naked has been my favorite eye shadow palette for years now! Yesterday Naked2 came out and I gotta say, WOW! I'm loving the new look and the new packaging. However, I'm not a fan of the new colors. The new one has more matte colors, while the first one has more shimmer. Guess I'm just more of a shimmer girl ;)
So Beautiful! Look at these colors!

Random little ways to show love.

- Smile.

- Give hugs.

- Yell “I love you!”.
- Kiss on the cheek.
- Give a high five.
- Go for a walk together.
- Be there for them.
- Pick flowers.
- Pray for them.
- Cook them a meal.
- Make them card.
- Say what a blessing they are.
- Write “Love you” on the bathroom mirror with lipstick.
- Praise them in front of others.
- Buy them a book at the thrift store and write something sweet in it.
- Do something they love to do, but you hate to do.
- Leave a sticky note somewhere they’ll see it with something positive on it.
