One of my favorite songs.

Who am I? that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt!
Who am I? that the Bright and Morning Star

Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart.

Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done

But because of who You are!

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow.
A wave tossed in the ocean,

A vapor in the wind.
Still You hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am.
I am Yours, I am Yours!

Who Am I? that the eyes that see my sin,
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again.
Who Am I? that the voice that calmed the sea,

Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me.

Not because of who I am,
but because of what you done.
Not because of what i done,
but because of who you are.

Whom shall I fear?
Whom shall I fear?
'Cause I am Yours!

Little Ones

Children are beautiful and sent from up above!

My nephew Elijah at the beach!
Good Evening,
Me and my husband have been married four and a half years now!
The first four years I was very scared to have children.
I almost felt like it would be a burden on me if I did find out I was pregnant...
horrible right?! :(
Please know that I don't feel this way anymore and even when I did,
it was only for a little while.
Now those feelings have left and God has completely changed my heart! :)
Sadly, in the world we live in today, children mean nothing!
In America, abortion is on the rise like never before.
As for the rest of the world, children are being sold into slavery, killed, abused and literally staving to death in the streets of most third world counties.
In this process of God changing my heart, He brought a few Bible verses to my mind.
Here are just a few:
My cousin Charlene's little girl, Alexis!

"Children are a heritage from the LORD,
offspring a reward from him." Psalms 127:3 NIV

"For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalms 139:13-16 NIV

"A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world." John 16:21 NIV

"He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14b NIV

This is me when I was little :)
Again, these are just a few of many.
If you think of any other ones,
please leave them in a comment.
I'd love to hear your thoughts also.
At this present time, me and the love of my life are no longer preventing having children.
Now it is completely in God's hands!
I hope and pray that I've inspired you with sharing my thoughts.
We need to come together and realize once again that children are little blessing from above
and not burdens to hold us back.
Me and my nephew Alessandro
May The Lord fill your heart with love and happiness!

God's Playground

Good evening!
I've always had a love for photography and it's really hard to nail down what I actually love to shoot the most.
If you know me in any way at all, one of the first things notice
about me is...
I have a zest for life and I am one big variety pack!
That being said, I love to take photos of pretty much anything and everything!
But what I most enjoy (especially during the summer) is taking my camera and going out in the wilderness taking pictures of God's creations!
So I've put together a little slide show to show just a few of my favorite images of what I like to call...
 "GOD'S PLAYGROUND!"
ENJOY!!
NOTE: Not all of the images you see have watermarks on them, however, I promise you, these pictures were 100% taken by me, I did not steal them :)

The song is called "You are my hope" by Skillet (aka my favorite band!)

Winter

Turning over a new leaf this winter: It seems like ever since I moved here from Southern California, I've always complained about winter. Most of the time people couldn't really tell, cause I’d keep it to myself. But this year, things are going to be different! I've decided to force myself to be positive no matter what! I couldn't believe it this morning when I woke up to find more snow on the ground and floating beautifully down from the sky! I was actually really excited! I went for a long walk with my dear brother-in-law Joe today.

As we were walking all over downtown Marquette, I kept thanking God for the snow and how beautiful and clean everything looked! It was perfect! This actually has been an amazing winter so far and I’m actually really happy about it! Last year at this time I was complaining and looking forward to summer. But there are so many fun and positive things about winter too! Like what?!

Well, to start off: The snow, sipping hot chocolate with a candy cane or cinnamon stick, cuddling with your love, reading a book by the window watching the snow dance around like little fairies, watching movies, sledding, snowboarding, skiing, etc…etc…etc…and let’s not forget about the FASHION!! and classic red lipstick ;)

Yes, people (myself included) will complain no matter what season it is. But this is life, here! NOW! TODAY! I am now so thankful to God for every breath I take! God made the seasons for a reason and He knows exactly what He’s doing!

So take heart and ENJOY! All my love, Sarah Schober

Enjoying some chocolate-y hot chocolate!

Just got back from spending a few days with my parents in Iron River. It was a pretty fast trip, (now back in MQT drinking some delicious hot chocolate!) As I was driving home tonight, I was having one of my deep, thought pondering moods. I was thinking, how crazy life is and wondering why I've always been in such a rush! When I was little, I couldn't wait to grow up, then I couldn't wait to get married, get a job, etc...Now, I can't wait to have a baby. But I need to just chill and enjoy everyday that God has given me. As I was driving, God reminded me of the verse in Matthew 6 that says, "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." He gently reminded me that everything is in His hands and even though I have my plans, He has His! Therefore, I will continue to enjoy this hot chocolate and enjoy this Christmas season! =D
